Whatsoever You Do ...
Next Food With Friends meal is Tuesday, September 12th.
The meal will be Pulled Pork, Sandwich buns and Potatoes.
While we are still doing bagged meals, your prayers in support of this ministry are the bedrock of enabling us to continue this amazing ministry.
We continue ot pray and look forward to planning in-person meals soon. This ministry changes the lives of those we serve as well as those who participate.

Free The Girls
Fight Human Trafficking
We are collecting gently used bras for the Free the Girls! Free the Girls! empowers women to take their first steps towards freedom. Something simple can be made extraordinary.
The goal of the organization is to help girls rescued from sex trafficking to live lives of true freedom through economic empowerment. Bras and the second-hand clothing market provide a safe and powerful economic opportunity to women in developing countries to be independent.

Food Pantry Donations
Off to Mass ... Snag a Can
Before you head out to Church (on time) on Sundays – don’t forget to grab a can from your pantry.
There is few other ways to show so clearly your connectedness to another person than taking from your bounty – that which God has deeply blessed you — and sharing with another soul who is in need. A jar of peanut butter may be a small sacrifice to you – but to someone else ... it may be the only source of protein someone may have for the day. In a country where we have been so richly blessed there is no reason why anyone should wonder where there next meal is coming from or wonder if they will be able to keep their children warm at night.
Christ fed five thousand people with five barley loaves and two fish – let’s step up and do our part and together we will all enjoy the bounty of the Lord.

Dogs & Cats, O My!
Give Thanks to Animals: Donate to Shelters
Not everyone can adopt a pet from a shelter, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help out shelter animals by donating old blankets, linens and towels. Most animal shelters don’t have enough money to buy comfort items like blankets and toys, so many animals suffer from exposure and stress.
Most pets that arrive at shelters and rescues are frightened in their new surroundings ... and sadly, many are forced to sit and sleep on hard cement floors and go without warmth during cold weather, since shelters and rescues don’t normally have the budget to supply soft, warm bedding.
Collecting clean - used blankets, linens and towels is an ongoing Ministry of the Parish and are collected every week.
